Toast Walnut Oil, Salad for Four

Here's a recipe using a fantastic new item that makes this salad really special.


6 cups Boston lettuce or other delicate mixed greens
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 ripe pear or tart apple
peeled and sliced
4 0z. Crumbled feta or blue cheese
1/3 cup Finely chopped parsley
3 Tbs. Saveurs de la Terre walnut oil
1 Tbs. Balsamic Vinegar of Modena

Mix all ingredients gently. Season with sea salt and freshly ground pepper to taste.
Add more oil or vinegar as desired.
Serves 4
